For many people, the decision to register as an organ, eye and tissue donor is made when they hear someone’s personal story. Knowing how a recipient’s life has been saved or how a donor family has found hope in their grief is very inspiring to those who are deciding if registering is right for them.
If you would like to share your personal connection to donation and transplantation, we hope you will do so. Your story of what donation means to you should be approximately 200 - 500 words. Keep it simple – less is more! Remember that your story is about you or a loved one, not about the medical process. Too many clinical details can be overwhelming and may detract from the power of your story.
