Quilt Square

Created in honor of Richard Byers, Jr.

Jr. was athletic and musically inclined. He played multiple sports from a young age. He also started early playing musical instruments and learnd to play the keyboard by ear. He played the saxaphone and then the drums in the marching band for high school. He had a heart for service and aspired to be a police officer, fireman, or serve in the military.

I am so proud of him for making such an important decision to be be an organ donor at such a young age. Even in his death he continued to give and serve. We were surprised to hear the news but had to honor his wishes.
