On March 10, 2014, the National Funeral Directors Association and the AATB published a “best practices” document that outlined improvements in communication and coordination among funeral service providers and organ and tissue banks. Each national entity committed to educating its state memberships about the contents of this document that is a refinement to an agreement made by the NFDA, AOPO and AATB over ten years ago.
