Quilt Square

Created in honor of Jay Dickerson

My son Jay was a beautiful 26 year old man, a student from UNC and a grand person.  He loved music and was a fantastic “DJ”. As he said, “I just mix music and I do it sweet”.  My square on the quilt represents his love of music, so it can bring life towards others from his passing.  He was my only child and a gift of being his mother was my honor.  I miss him dearly and my love will live on because peace is with him. I’ve been fortunate enough to receive letters of appreciation from his recipients and they have said because of him, their lives will live on.  Thanks to my son for his life being donated for others and now they will live on.
