Quilt Square

Created in honor of James “Jimmy” Leonard

This quilt square represents the most important people in Jimmy’s life and some of the things that were enjoyed by him. Lisa- The love of his life. Kaylin- His beautiful daughter who is the mother of his precious granddaughter, Loraleigh. He loved being her “Poppy.” Chance- His wonderful son. The 4 J’s at the bottom of th quilt represent: Jimmy, Jo (his mom), Jerry (his dad), Joni (his sister).

Jimmy was in a good place spiritually when the Lord called him home. I know he is in a better place. Jimmy was a great fan of the Chicago Bears, the NC State Wolfpack, NASCAR racing, and the band Kiss. Jimmy had a kind heart and loved playing basketball with the kids in our neighborhood. He had many friends. We all love him and miss him terribly.
